Create the e-file

  1. In Organizer, select
    Federal E-file
    , then
    Create E-file
    .
  2. Select
    Create E-file
    .
  3. An XML file is created. When completed, a date/time stamp is displayed and the e-file status is given. If the return contains a reject e-file diagnostic or XML validation errors, the e-file status section displays a message stating that the XML file was created, but is not qualified to be e-filed.
  4. You must clear the reject diagnostics and XML validation errors and create the XML file again until there are no errors..
  5. Select
    Delete Federal E-file
    to delete an existing federal e-file.
