Assign owners of tax defaults

In firms with multiple accounts, it's often necessary for the firm administrator to assign a specific owner for the tax defaults associated with each account number. By setting up location administrators, you can allocate responsibility for the tax defaults of an account to administrators based on their location.

To assign tax defaults:

Log in as the firm administrator.
Select
Admin
Tax Defaults
.
Firm administrators have an
Assign
button on the Tax Defaults screen. After selecting the account and year, the firm administrator can assign administrators in the designated location as owners of the tax defaults for a specific account.
