Update Organizer with state workpapers

After entering all state workpapers data and assigning logic and cross-reference charts, you must compute the binder to transfer the state workpaper balances into A&A.
  1. Open a binder and go to the
    Tax Accounting System (TAS)
    , then select
    Compute
    .
  2. Select
    Update Organizer with State A&A
    . This option's only available if you've assigned logic and cross-reference charts to the binder.
  3. Select
    Compute
    . Data transfers or computes in the Tax Forms when states are activated. Data transfer into the A&A Organizer/Overrides for each state.
  4. Lastly, in the State A&A Workpapers you can reconcile detail amounts that are summarized on the state forms to verify the data's carrying to the forms based on your A&A data entry and setup or customization.
