Batch import reference ID numbers for Form 8975

Use this import to populate 1 (or more) of the 8975 binder properties or update the number of employees in the Form 8975 Schedule A Workpaper for 1 or more binders.

, operates by using an add or replace approach.
  • If a column's mapped and the related field in the import file's blank, the existing information in the system for that entity gets retained.
  • If the import file contacts a cell with the word 'null,' the existing value in the system for the entity gets deleted.

Formatting requirements for import

  • Reference ID Number
    • Alphanumeric; only dashes and spaces allowed.
    • Limited to 50 characters.
    • Applicable for a Foreign Subsidiary, Parent, Divisional Consolidation, Division and Corporate Single Entity, or Foreign Tax Credit Division.
  • Taxpayer Identification Number
    • Acceptable characters include: [A-Z], [a-z], [0-9], ~!@#$%^&*()_+={}|[]\:";'<>?,./ and ASCII decimal 161 to 191, 193, 201, 205, 209, 211, 215, 218, 220, 225, 233, 237, 241, 243, 250, and 252.
    • Limited to 50 characters.
    • Applicable for 1120, 1120L, 1120PC, Foreign Subsidiary, Parent, Divisional Consolidation, Division and Corporate Single Entity, or Foreign Tax Credit Division.
  • Number of employees
    • Must be a number between 0 and 9,999,999.
    • Acceptable characters include: [A-Z], [a-z], [0-9] `~!@#$%^&*()_+-={}|[]\:";'<>?,./ and ASCII decimal 161 to 191, 193, 201, 205, 209, 211, 215, 218, 220, 225, 233, 237, 241, 243, 250 and 252.
    • Limited to 50 characters.
    • Applicable for 1120, 1120L, 1120PC, Foreign Subsidiary, Parent, Divisional Consolidation, and Division and Corporate Single Entity.
    • Required for Country {#} and Description {#}.
  • Country
