  • Child Transacting Company:
A child transacting company (sometimes referred to as child company or a transacting company) isn't a tax data provider or custom data provider. Rather, a child company inherits all of its tax and custom data from a specified tax data provider and/or custom data provider. A child company can't add any of its own data but it does maintain specific data (such as users, tax and logic preferences and Model Scenarios). Child companies are considered calculating companies.
