Configuration settings and integration

This guide outlines the configuration settings required within your S/4HANA On-Premise system and landscape to establish the connection between your system and the Thomson Reuters (TR) applications. In summary, there are two main activities:
  • SAP BTP-Global Insights Integration:
     This integration requires configuration of Services (OData) to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Cloud Connector Configuration:
     The cloud connector instance must be configured to establish connectivity between the TR-hosted subscriber sub-account and your S/4HANA system. This configuration is crucial for enabling secure and efficient communication between systems.

System requirements

Before you begin, make sure your system meets the following requirements:
  • SAP S/4HANA Version: Compatible with SAP S/4HANA On-Prem 2021 version or higher.
  • Global Next Integration: Implement the Global Next Integration solution for the OneSource Indirect Tax determination tool.

Prerequisites

Verify the following prerequisites:
  1. User Permissions: make sure you have the necessary user permissions to configure and access the application.
  2. API Access: Confirm that your system has access to the required OData services.
  3. Cloud Connector: make sure the cloud connector instance is available and can be configured to establish connectivity between the TR-hosted subscriber sub-account and your S/4HANA system.
