Release highlights

This patch introduces enhancements and resolves multiple critical issues.

Fixes

DA Store App – Tax API Improvements (1704802)
In this release, we have optimized the performance of the Tax API tax calculation web service within the new DA Store app. By eliminating unnecessary and costly conversion mechanisms in the request payload from the transaction source system to the tax engine, we have significantly enhanced performance.
This improvement applies regardless of the number of lines in the transaction invoice.
Notably, the SOAP-based web service already incorporated this optimization for tax calculation calls.
DA Store App – Tax Calculation Exception Error (1692820)
The DA Store app's tax engine previously encountered an 'UNEXPECTED EXCEPTION' error in certain scenarios.
This issue has now been resolved, ensuring users can consistently obtain accurate tax results without encountering such errors.
Data Discrepancy between DA and EC (1702998)
Running the same transaction request payload between Enterprise Cloud (EC) Determination and Determination Anywhere (DA) revealed a data discrepancy in the Tax Code Qualifier applied to the DA tax output. Further investigation showed that the existing verification steps in the configuration sync process did not account for certain additional checks, such as identifying duplicate data, which led to related data not syncing properly.
The logic in the configuration sync process has now been corrected to prevent such issues more effectively.
Telemetry Data Issue (1701027)
Data related to the status of DA client instances is available in a dashboard within the Enterprise Cloud UI (Help -> About Determination Anywhere). An issue was identified in our internal environments where the dashboard data conflicted with telemetry data collected from DA instances. Since telemetry data aids TR in troubleshooting reported issues, ensuring consistency is crucial.
This discrepancy has been resolved, ensuring the UI dashboard accurately reflects telemetry data from DA client instances.
