Disaster recovery testing for Original Cloud and Original Dedicated Cloud

Disaster recovery (DR) testing helps us evaluate our recovery plan in a controlled environment to ensure we can restore data and products/services and continue operations after a disruption.
The system status page gets updated to reflect testing in progress and when it's completed.

Important connectivity notes

  • If your system uses DNS addresses for access, no action is needed.
  • If your system is configured to use IP-based access, make sure your IT or network team has allowlisted the following IP addresses for the DR site to avoid connectivity issues:
    • EIP: 155.46.135.116
    • EIP: 155.46.135.146
  • If you encounter access problems during or after the switch, confirm with your network/firewall team that the Determination URL domain or required IP addresses are allowlisted.
  • Follow these steps of you encounter a connectivity issue after Determination moves to the secondary site during testing:
    1. Sign in to the ONESOURCE Determination URL with your user ID and password. This site is where you program your tax configurations for ONESOURCE Determination.
    2. If you can sign in, then the issue could be related to your network. Contact your network/firewall teams to check that traffic to the Determination URL is not getting blocked.
      • If traffic is getting blocked confirm with your network/firewall team if the Determination URL domain is allowlisted.
      • If your network only supports IP-based allowlisting, then IP addresses must be allowlisted (see the previous IP addresses that you need to allowlist while the applications in the secondary site).
  • For ongoing issues, contact ONESOURCE Determination customer support. Information is available at: Thomson Reuters Support
