Reports and analytics 2025.07 release notes

Release highlights

ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Reports and Analytics version 2025.07 introduces the following enhancements and bug fixes:
  • New reports added for ‘Line level Summary – Fiscal Date’ and ‘Tax Level Summary – Fiscal date’
  • VAT Document Details Report generation issue fixed.
  • Standard reports generation issue fixed
  • New column for ‘Excise Already Paid’ added to ‘Custom report’ and ‘Custom report – Additional fields’

Enhancements

Introducing new reporting functionality of Summary reports by Fiscal date for specified tenants. This release adds two new reports that will be accessible under the 'Create report' dropdown menu in ‘Reports and Analytics:
Line Level Summary - Fiscal Date:
 This report summarizes all calculated measures rolled up at the document level, with the ability to break down data into lines for Commodity Code and Product Code based on the fiscal month.
Tax Level Summary - Fiscal Date:
 This report summarizes all calculated measures rolled up at the document level and can break down data into lines for Commodity Code, Product Code, as well as taxes for Tax Type, Authority Type, etc., on a fiscal month basis.
Both reports require users to select the mandatory filters 'Company Name' and 'Fiscal Period' prior to report generation. By default, fiscal period dates are set from 'MONTH-1' to 'MONTH-1'.
These enhancements offer more detailed visibility into calculated measures at both the line and tax levels, enabling comprehensive analysis by fiscal period. Please note, this feature is available upon request. To enable it for your tenant, please submit a case with the support team.

Fixes

VAT Documents Details Report generation issue fixed (1728790)
: Previously, some VAT Document Details Report templates failed due to an issue with the Tax direction input. This has been fixed, and reports are now generated successfully.
Standard report generation issue fixed (1742253, 1782523)
: Some private or shared Report templates were previously unable to be generated due to a validation issue related to certain keywords. This problem has been addressed, and users are now able to generate reports as expected.
'Excise Already Paid' column added to custom reports (1767076,1538894, 1461878, 1539844)
: The ‘Custom Report’ and ‘Custom Report – Additional fields’ Report now includes an additional column for
Excise Already Paid
.
New Columns Added:
You are now able to add
Excise Already Paid
 to the ‘Custom Report’ and ‘Custom Report – Additional fields’ Report. To add this new field, place the report into Edit mode and customize the view by incorporating it as a column or filter. This field can be either ‘Y’ or ‘NULL’.
Existing Saved Reports:
If you have an existing saved ‘Custom Report’ and ‘Custom Report – Additional fields’ report, to include this new column you will need to use a new template and add the field as column.
We recommend using a new template, as all future updates will be applied to it.
