Enter receipts and adjustments for client families

  • Client families let you associate multiple clients (subsidiary clients) that are billed to a single client (parent client).
  • The resulting accounts receivable is booked to the parent client, so you'll need to enter receipts and adjustments to the parent client.
  • When entering receipts or adjustments to a subsidiary client for an invoice that was created before the client became a subsidiary, enter the receipt or adjustment to the subsidiary client directly.
  • For instructions on how to enter receipts, see Entering receipts.
  • For instructions on how to enter adjustments, see Entering Accounts Receivable Adjustments: Credit Memos, Debit Memos, and Write-Offs.
