Error: Firm database is not available to open

You may need to reinstall your license if your firm name isn't listed in the
Open Firm
field of the
Practice CS
sign in page. This usually happens after you upgrade or reinstall the application.
Your database is associated with your active firm ID. You can only open the databases associated with the active Firm ID.
Reinstall your license
  1. Open the
    Sample
    database.
  2. Select
    Help
    , then
    About Practice CS
    .
  3. Select
    Download Licenses
    .
  4. Enter your Firm ID in the
    Firm ID
    field.
  5. Enter your License PIN in the
    ZIP Code (or PIN)
    field.
  6. Select
    Next
    and follow the remaining prompts to download and install your license.
Select
File
then
Open Firm
. Your firm name should now be listed in the
Open Firm
field. Select your firm name to open your database.
If your firm still doesn't show up or you need assistance installing your license, contact support.
