Email notifications from staff determined

You have the ability to notify staff when various events occur. Notifications can be in the form of a pop-up message and/or email. Email notifications may appear to come from random staff members in the firm.
You can optionally configure notifications in the Notifications tab of the Firm screen. If the option is chosen to receive a notification by email, the correct staff will receive an email when a monitored event occurs. In a firm where there are numerous people using Practice CS, a common source of confusion is the "From" staff on this email. The email may appear to have been sent by a random staff member in the firm, or a staff member that is not an administrator (or maybe only uses Practice CS in a limited fashion).
Practice CS is programmed such that certain "background operations" will be performed by one of the computers currently running Practice CS. The person elected to be the background processor is chosen by the program, and cannot be specifically assigned. For notifications, whichever instance of Practice CS is presently elected for background processing is the person who will be listed as the "From" staff on the notification email(s). Because there are different staff using Practice CS at different times, the staff elected for background operations may change from time to time. This is normal.
