Time and Expense

Change the order of the time and expense entry screen

By default, the
Time & Expense Entry
 screen sorts in the order of how you entered the transactions. It's possible to sort the screen on ascending or descending order.
  1. Select the header of the column you want to sort the screen.
    note
    • When you select a box header for the 1st time, the screen will sort alphabetically in climbing order.
    • When you select that header again, the screen will sort alphabetically in descending order.
    • When you select that header for the 3rd time, the screen returns to the order of how you entered the transactions.
  2. See if an indented triangle appears in the column header. It indicates that it's a sorted screen and whether it is climbing or descending, as follows:
    • Ascending: Triangle pointing up
    • Descending: Triangle pointing down
    • Order entered: No triangle

    You can sort all screens and dashboard portlets that contain grids like the ones used in
    Time & Expense Entry
     in the same way.
