Creating SurePrep User Group and Users in GoSystem Tax RS for SurePrep - Outsource only

To submit returns to SurePrep, you'll need to create a SurePrep User Group and Users in GoSystem Tax RS.
Setting User Group for SurePrep to access GoSystem Tax RS:
  1. Log into GoSystem Tax RS as administrator, then select
    Administrative Functions
    .
  2. Select
    Access Control
    , select the
    Groups
     tab, then select
    New
    .
  3. Enter the following information for Group Info:
    • Name
      : SUREPREP
    • Location
      : to be set up by your firm.
    • Under the 
      Accounts
       tab, select the required account's that you want SurePrep to have access.
    • Select
      Assign
      .
    • Once the account shows up under the
      Assigned Accounts
      section, select
      Update
      .
Setting Users and assign them to SurePrep User Group:
  1. Go to 
    Administrative Functions
    >
    Access Control
    .
  2. Select the
    Users
     tab then click
    New
    .
  3. Enter the following information for User Info:
    • Login ID
      : PREPARER01.
    • Location
      : determined by your firm in SurePrep Group setup.
    • Full Name
      : Preparer01.
    • Password
      : select a random password that you will remember.
    • E-Mail
      : enter your valid email ID
    • Employee ID
      : enter your valid employee ID
    • Under the
      Rights
       section, check the box next to the rights you want to assign.
    • Click
      Update
      .
    You can repeat the same steps again to create more users.
  4. Next, you will need to provide SurePrep the login details. Go to
    Account Admin, Account Setup, then Tax File Activation
