Color Coding in SPbinder

INDEX TREE

All the proforma'd
Input Forms
in the
Index Tree
will show up in blue text.
All the input forms created in the current year will be in black text.
A pink dot icon shows non-standard documents that were auto-indexed using the DILLY or DILOP feature. These documents haven’t been verified by SurePrep and require your attention.

References

References colors on the document indicate where the data goes.
Blue References 
Indicate that the amounts will flow to the tax software but not to the leadsheets.
Red References
Indicate that the amounts will flow to the tax software as well as the leadsheets.
 Orange References
Indicate that the amounts will flow to Leadsheets only; these amounts won’t flow to the tax software through the export process. 

FORMS tab

Form names are color-coded to indicate how the form was captured/updated.

Entities
- Form details were imported into the binder from the previous tax year (information was available in the tax software).
Black
New Entities
- OCR & manual added by a preparer.
Selected proforma forms will appear in blue color.
Proforma'd Fields
Proforma'd
descriptions imported into the binder from the previous year will appear in
blue
text.
OCR Fields
Data that has been captured by
OCR
will appear in green text.
Manually entered field
Data that has been entered
manually
by the user will appear in
black
text.
Manually entered field overriding signed-off amount
Data that has been
manually
modified by a user after it was already verified with certainty using business logic (double green checkmark) and signed off by a user reviewing in Review Wizard. Modifying this field will turn the field borders red.

LEADS tab

Leadsheets show the same color format as Input Forms.
  • Proforma Field - Blue text.
  • OCR Field - Green text.
  • Manual entry - Black text.
XML Submissions
XML data appears in Burgundy (Dark red) color.
