Migrate SurePrep to the Thomson Reuters Account

We are thrilled to announce that SurePrep will migrate account sign-in credentials to the Thomson Reuters Account. This update provides a streamlined experience by enabling you to access both SurePrep and Thomson Reuters Account applications with a single set of sign-in credentials, making it easier and more convenient for you to manage your accounts.
Please go to the SurePrep sign-in page, select
Activate new sign-in
, and begin using the new sign-in experience!

Action item
Thomson Reuters Account Activation - Activate new sign-in in December 2024.
Duration
Activation will take you approximately 5 minutes to set up a new password.
Deadline
You must transfer to the new sign-in method by July 31, 2025.
SSO users will need to migrate in a future phase. Migration guidance will be provided next year.
Changes
Only the sign-in method will be updated. There will be no impact on your existing SurePrep user account or products.
  • User credentials:
    1. If you currently use your username and password to sign in to FileRoom then you need to activate your new Thomson Reuters account in the next section.
    2. You can then sign-in with your new Thomson Reuters account password.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO):
    If your firm uses SSO to sign in to SurePrep FileRoom then no action is required at the moment. Continue using your current sign-in method. Migration guidance will be provided next year.

Action required: activate new sign-in

After December 21, 2024, please migrate your SurePrep account credentials to Thomson Reuters' unified sign-in system.

If your firm uses SSO then no actions are needed currently. You can select the SSO users link and sign in using your existing method. Migration guidance will be provided next year.
This process involves a few steps, follow them here or watch our video walkthrough.
  1. Select
    Activate new sign-in

  2. Enter your email address to receive your activation email.
  3. Open the email from Thomson Reuters and select
    Create password
    to create a Thomson Reuters password.
  4. After creating your password, you can sign-in with your Thomson Reuters account.
If you have completed the action item and migrated your account credentials to Thomson Reuters, select
Sign in with Thomson Reuters Account
. You will be redirected to Thomson Reuters Account sign-in system where you can sign in.
