Overview

Use this screen to complete Amended Form 40 Individual Income Tax Return Resident & Part-Year Residents and Amended Form 40NR Individual Income Tax Return Nonresidents Only. Alabama doesn't have a separate amended return. Forms 40 and 40NR have a checkbox to indicate that the return is an amended return.

Use this section to enter information as the information was filed on the original return and any additional information needed to complete the amended forms.

In the statement window, enter an explanation of changes to income or exemptions to accompany Amended Form 40/40NR.
