Overview
Use this screen to review information that transferred from the UltraTax CS asset module. All depreciation and amortization information transfers directly into the ARSale Screen from the asset module and then transfers to the relevant form(s).
note
- This screen may not be applicable for the current client. UltraTax CS provides a global option regarding the entry of asset information. This screen is not applicable when the asset module is selected. To determine if the asset module is in use for this client, choose File and then Client Properties, select the Advanced Properties button, and then select the Enter Asset Detail tab. The asset module is in use if the checkbox is marked. When the asset module is selected, the tab for this input screen does not appear in UltraTax CS.
- We strongly recommend you enter all asset information through the Asset tab (asset module). This data entry method assures that Arkansas depreciation information transfers properly. For more information, see Where do I enter asset data.
State does not conform to section 179 QRP treatment
UltraTax CS automatically marks this box to indicate that the corresponding federal sale of section 179 QRP does not apply for state purposes, so the sale is not reported. The screen is completed for consistency with the corresponding federal screen unit.
