Show all hidden content

Overview

Use this screen to provide additional information to complete Form D-40B. If information transferred from UltraTax/1040 doesn't require additional data or coding, UltraTax/1040-DC only shows this information on the form and not on the input screen. District of Columbia doesn't tax nonresidents. Form D-40B only prints if there is a refund.
note
  • This input screen is only available for clients with a nonresident return status.
  • This screen appears only if you specify that the state return is a nonresident return. To do this, select File, then Client Properties, then the District of Columbia tab. Verify that you've selected the nonresident checkbox.
  • D-40B Nonresident Request for Refund isn't eligible to be electronically filed. Be sure to attach supporting documentation such as W-2s and 1099s.
