Overview

Use this screen to provide information to produce Form D-30, District of Columbia Unincorporated Business Franchise Tax Return, as an amended return.

General Information

Transfer original information
Select this field to enter the original data (as of the last time the return was printed) in the amount fields. Select this field before printing the amended federal return if it's also being prepared.
Explanation of changes to income, deductions, and credits
Enter information to explain changes to income, deductions, and credits. An entry here generates an
X
in the amended checkbox on Form D-30, Page 1. Form D-30 doesn't use the federal explanation for filing federal Form 1040X.
Amount paid with original or previously filed return
Enter the amount remitted to the Department of Revenue with the original return. This amount is added to the payments and refundable credits section on Form D-30, Page 2.
Refund on original or previously filed return
Enter the amount of refund received on the original return. This amount is added to the tax line on Form D-30, Page 2.

Form D-30ES Estimates Recalculated

Use this section to prevent recalculating the estimated taxes that were prepared based on the original return filed.
Do not recalculate estimated tax payments
When you select this checkbox, UltraTax CS won't recalculate estimates based on any changes to the return, and the vouchers and estimated tax filing instructions won't print. UltraTax CS proformas the estimated tax amounts from the DCUBTAmd screen,
