Use this section adjustments to federal adjusted gross income.
Investment interest expense for the production of income exempt from Georgia tax
Enter the amount of investment interest expense included in itemized deductions from the federal return for investments not taxable in Georgia. The amount entered will be reported on the Georgia Form 500 as an adjustments to itemized deductions. If you take the standard deduction on the return, an amount you enter in this field won't affect the return.
