Use this screen when the taxpayer is a member of a Civil Union recognized by Hawaii. Information in this screen is based on data entered in the

This screen is only active when you setup a new Domestic Partner return. To create a new Domestic Partner return:
  1. Go to
    File
    , then
    Client Properties
    .
  2. Select
    1040 Individual
    , then
    Domestic Partner
     from the dropdown.
  3. Select
    Advanced Properties
    , then the
    Domestic Partners
     tab.
  4. Select your Taxpayer and Spouse clients from the list.

If this field is marked, information from this client won't proforma. This field can't be filled in on a joint return.
