Use this screen to enter the general, representative / appointee, and tax matters information for the designation of a representative for specific tax matters and/or to revoke a designation. When a federal power of attorney has been completed, UltraTax CS defaults to the federal entries for identical fields.
General Information
Taxpayer, spouse, or joint
Enter the applicable letter to indicate the person(s) for whom the power of attorney applies. UltraTax CS defaults to the federal power of attorney choice if no selection is made.
Account ID
Enter any other applicable Account ID numbers.
Representative/Appointee Information
Representative or appointee information
The representative information transfers from the federal POA Screen. Only the first two representatives entered will be used on Form IL-2848.
Tax Matters Information
To generate a power of attorney, enter the type of tax in the tax matters information fields.
