Overview

Use this screen to enter data from Form 2G, when Form 2G income tax paid by trustee is reported as withholding on the Massachusetts individual tax return designated for electronic filing. This is supplemental information only and is required by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue for purposes of reconciling withholding amounts included in the electronic record. Information entered on this screen does
not
affect the calculation of Form 1 or 1-NR/PY.
It is not necessary to enter data on this screen for paper-filed returns.
For Form 2G income reported on Schedule B, C, D, E, F, or Form 4835, you may enter the corresponding state withholding in federal St Pmt Screen.
note
If Massachusetts state withholding has been entered in the statement dialog on federal B & D Screen for interest, dividends or capital gains, remove the withholding from the B & D Screen statement dialog and enter on federal St Pmt Screen only.
