Additions

Information entered in this section is used to complete the Schedule I, Additions.
Enter expenses not claimed on the federal tax return.
Enter any other additions and codes in the statement window attached to this field.

Subtractions

Information entered in this section is used to complete Schedule 1, Subtractions.
Enter tribal income that is exempt for Montana income.
UltraTax/1040-MT automatically reduces the federal AGI for any military income included on a W-2 that is included on the federal 1040 wages for part-year and nonresident returns. Use this field to force amounts differing from the federal amount. To exclude this subtraction, enter
0
(zero) if a non-qualified military exemption.
Enter related expenses not entered for the federal return.
Enter any other subtractions and codes in the statement window attached to this field.

Additions/Subtractions

Information entered in this section is used to complete Schedule 1.
If a taxpayer or spouse is eligible for a state adjustment (addition or subtraction), enter the amount as a positive amount for an addition and a negative amount for a subtraction.
