Use this section to complete portions of Form 1040N.
County of residence
If the taxpayer is a resident or part-year resident of Nebraska, enter the county in which he/she resided. After entering the county name, the
Public high school district code
field becomes enterable with the list of school districts in the county of residence.
Public high school district code
Use this field to indicate the public school district in the county in which the taxpayer resided. The names of school districts are listed in the fieldview. This is a required entry.
Authorize discussion with tax department
Use this field to indicate in the e-file that there is authorization to discuss the return with the tax department. The default is the entry on federal 1040 Screen.
General footnote
If desired, enter a footnote in the statement dialog. This is a schedule that may be printed and attached to the return for informational purposes. The general footnote appears as a separate item in each collation.

Use Tax

Use this section to complete the use tax calculation for Form 1040N.
Internet and out-of-state purchases subject to Nebraska use tax
Use the statement dialog to enter the amount of purchases made. This number is multiplied by the local residence rate and State of Nebraska sales tax rate to produce the amount of use tax due with Form 1040N.
