Overview

UltraTax CS transfers wages, wage adjustments, and city withholding amounts to the NYW2 screen from the W-2 facsimile section of the federal W2 screen. Use this screen to verify the amounts to be reported as state and/or city wages, city withholding, New York IRC125, health insurance and the welfare benefit fund surcharge addition adjustments, or Section 414(h) contributions addition adjustments. Fields are also provided in this screen for the allocation of wages into (postal codes other than
NY
) or out of the state (postal codes blank or
NY
), and into or out of Yonkers on nonresident and part-year returns. State allocations transfer to the New York AGI Worksheet. City allocations transfer to Form Y-203 or its respective worksheet. If information transferred from UltraTax/1040 doesn't require additional data or coding, UltraTax/1040-NY shows it on the form only, not in the screen.
