Account information transfers from the federal Bank screen. North Carolina tax refunds are directly deposited when account information is entered in the NCBank screen. Enter

Date of withdrawal if not due date of return
If filing on or before the original due date, the date of withdrawal defaults to the original due date unless you enter an earlier date. Otherwise, enter an anticipated filing date. The state initiates a withdrawal request upon processing completion. The transfer may occur on or after the requested date. Delays of several days aren't uncommon.

Account Information

Information copies from the federal Bank screen. You can change account information for the state return. Verify this information annually with the taxpayer. To prevent unintended IRA excess contributions, IRA account information doesn't transfer. If you intend to make a deposit to an IRA, re-enter account information here.
Routing transit number
You must enter the routing transit number, account number and type. If these fields are blank, the account is ignored. RTN - must be 9 digits, the first 2 digits within the range of 01-12 or 21-32. Account number may include digits and letters; omit spaces, hyphens, and other special characters. The institution name is for filing instructions.
Name of financial institution
The institution name is used in filing instructions and forms to identify the account.
