Additional First Year Depreciation Added Back in Prior Years

Enter the total depreciation and Section 179 amounts that were added to the North Carolina return in prior years, including additions for bonus depreciation that were passed-through to the taxpayer on Schedule K-1.

postal code. Use the
Force
fields to enter the NC source bonus depreciation claimed on the federal return if different the calculated. This may be necessary when activities are allocated to multiple states.
Section 179 addback North Carolina source (Force)
The ratio of North Carolina source elected Section 179 expense to federal elected Section 179 expense is multiplied by the total Section 179 addback to calculate the instate source addback. Use the
Force
field to enter an amount different from the default calculation.
Prior Year Adjustments
The subtraction for prior year add-backs defaults to 0 if not entered here. Amounts entered calculate an instate version of the Depreciation Worksheet and amounts will proforma to next year.
