Mark this field if you are reporting pass-through withholding on Schedule PTW, Schedule PTE, Schedule K1, and Form BUS-V. It will populate Form BUS-V, Part 1: Business Tax Type section, RI Schedule PTE - PTE Entity Election/RI Schedule PTW - PT Withholding checkbox.
For 1040 tax returns, the
only
applicable checkbox is Schedule PTE/Schedule PTW, therefore there is no additional data entry input for other entity type elections for Form BUS-V, Part 1: Business Tax Type section.
