If not proforma'd, enter credit carryover amounts to complete the Virginia Credit Carryover Worksheet and Schedule CR/CG.
Future Carryover / Coalfield employment enhancement
The Coalfield employment enhancement credit expired in 2021. You can only claim credits earned in prior taxable years based on the redemption schedule.
Use these fields to enter the amount of credit that is eligible to be claimed for the applicable future tax year. Unlike all other carryover credits, the amounts entered here will not flow to Schedule CR. This is due to additional data entry requirements when claiming this credit on the VACr screen. These fields were added as placeholders due to the three year redemption schedule between when the credit was earned and when it is eligible to be claimed.
Form 306D is prepared outside of UltraTax CS and contains the amounts required for data entry on the VACr screen. It needs to be attached to the return in the year the credit is claimed.
