Sale Information

Sale of capital assets
Capital asset sales entered on the federal B&D and Broker screens transfer to the statement field regardless of residency or state postal code. Any additional long-term capital sales included on federal Schedule D need to be entered in the statement. Use the Exemption column to select an exemption code, if necessary. If the sale doesn't apply to Washington, mark an
X
in the Not Allocated to Washington column.

Adjustments and Credits

Charitable donations
Use the statement to enter charitable donations and make sure they are principally directed to Washington by marking an
X
in the column. Charitable donations don’t transfer from the federal A screen.
Tax paid to other jurisdiction credit
Use the statement dialogue to enter details for
Tax paid to other jurisdiction credit
. UltraTax CS doesn’t transfer any information from nonresident returns to your full-year resident return.
