Overview

The Washington Department of Revenue will not accept paper filed Working Families Tax Credit Applications generated by tax software. They must be filed electronically.

The Working Families Tax Credit Applicant Attestation automatically prints when the Working Families Tax Credit Application is e-filed. It is up to the preparer to decide if a signature from the applicant on the attestation is necessary. Use this field to adjust the filing instructions / transmittal inserts accordingly.

    , the filing instructions / letter inserts remind the Applicant to sign the Attestation and return it to the preparer's office.

    is entered in this field, the filing instructions / letter inserts indicate that the Attestation has already been signed.
