Screen WIDepr — Wisconsin Depreciation and Amortization (1040)

Show all hidden content

Overview

All depreciation and amortization information transfers to this screen from the UltraTax CS fixed asset module and then transfers to the relevant form(s). UltraTax CS transfers information with respect to all forms and units, without regard to asset ZIP Codes. However, when processing Wisconsin part-year resident or nonresident returns, UltraTax CS ignores all depreciation on forms and units that don't have the relevant state input screens.
You can use the global option to specify how to enter asset information. You can choose to enter asset information in the fixed asset module or in the depreciation input screens. When you specify that you want to use the fixed asset module for asset data entry, this input screen isn't needed, and so the depreciation tab for it isn't shown.
