Overview

Use this screen to complete portions of Form 1 and Form 1NPR, Page 3.

School Property Tax Credit

Use this section to enter amount of rent paid with and without heat included.

Earned Income Credit

Use this section to enter the number of qualifying children for the Wisconsin Earned Income Credit, the name of a qualifying child who's not a dependent, or to indicate that the taxpayer prefers to have the State of Wisconsin, rather than UltraTax/1040-WI, calculate the Wisconsin Earned Income Credit.

Use this section to reduce federal itemized deductions if necessary to complete Schedule 1.
Medical expenses
UltraTax CS adjusts medical expenses transferred from federal Schedule A by adding back the amount of the subtraction taken on Form 1, or by adding back the amount that adjusts Form 1NPR, line 1, column B. If the medical expense enabled by Wisconsin has changed due to a change in Wisconsin adjusted gross income, UltraTax CS also adds back the amount of the subtraction. To adjust the calculated amount, use this field to enter the amount to be subtracted.
Interest
UltraTax CS transfers the total interest from Schedule A to UltraTax/1040-WI. To change the federal amount, enter the amount to be subtracted.
Contributions
UltraTax CS transfers the total amount for the charitable contribution deduction from federal Schedule A to UltraTax/1040-WI. To change the amount on Schedule 1, enter the amount to be subtracted.
