Beneficiaries

Turn off printing of a beneficiary's Schedule K-1

If a beneficiary doesn't receive a distribution during a tax year, you can turn off the printing of that beneficiary's Schedule K-1.
  1. In the client's return, select
    View
    , then
    Beneficiary Information
    .
  2. Select the beneficiary from the
    Beneficiary Name
     list.
  3. Select the
    Beneficiary
     tab.
  4. Mark the
    Suppress printing of this Schedule K-1
     checkbox in the Other Information group box.
  5. Select
    Done
    .
    note
    • If the beneficiary doesn't receive an allocation and isn't suppressed, the application prints a Schedule K-1 for this beneficiary with "NO TAXABLE INCOME" before Part I.
    • Suppress printing of this Schedule K-1
       isn't  available for charitable remainder trusts, qualified subchapter S trusts, grantor trusts, and agency relationship returns.
