NOL Carryover for Years Prior to 2017
Income (Loss)
Use the boxes in this column to enter the taxable income or net operating loss for each of the preceding years. Enter income amounts as positive numbers and loss amounts as negative numbers.
(Income Offset) NOL Utilized
Use the boxes in this column to show what portion of the first column was utilized. UltraTax CS adds the amounts in the two columns to determine if there's a NOL carryover available to the current year.

- If the corresponding box in the first column reflects income, enter a negative number here to show the amount of generic cities’ net operating loss deduction previously used.
- If the corresponding box in the first column reflects a loss, enter a positive number here to show the amount of that loss previously used.
