Partnership Return Information

Suppress Form 27 electronic file when filing federal return electronically

 to suppress the RITA electronic file when filing the federal return electronically. This feature is also found in the federal ELF screen. If used in the federal screen, and if there are multiple states attached that accept electronic returns, the application doesn't create any electronic state files.
This feature is also a global federal setting for new clients, available in the New Client window. Select Setup, 1065 Partnership, Federal tab, and select New Client Options.
Signature date of partner for Form 27
Enter the date the electronically filed return is signed by the partnership representative. If this box is blank, UltraTax CS uses the signature date of partner signing the return in the federal ELF screen as the date signed in the RITA electronic file. Enter a date in this box if the federal return isn't being filed electronically or the RITA signature date is different than the federal.

When Form 8879 (etc.) signature date(s) (Preparer and/or Client) are not entered:
 use current date option is selected in Setup, Office Configuration, then Print Options tab.

Electronic Funds Withdrawal Information

Requested payment date
Enter a withdrawal payment date to authorize automatic funds withdrawal payment in the 1065 RITA electronic file for the amount of the return’s balance due.
Amount of tax payment (Force)
Enter an amount if a partial payment of the return balance due is being made through electronic funds withdrawal. If this box is blank, the application uses the total balance due on the return for the electronic funds withdrawal amount.

 to indicate that the balance due on Form RITA 27 will be paid by electronic funds transfer (EFT). The application uses this information to complete the filing instructions. Refer to the instructions for Form RITA 27 for the proper method of payment.
