General Information

Suppress Vermont return and extension electronic file when filing federal return electronically

to suppress the Vermont electronic file when filing the federal return electronically. The Vermont electronic file can also be suppressed in the ELF federal screen. Suppress the Vermont electronic file in the ELF federal screen if there are multiple states attached that accept electronic returns and UltraTax CS shouldn't create any state electronic files. If no state electronic files should be created for any client, there's a global federal setting for new clients available in the New Client window. Select

if you've received a signed Vermont Form 8879-VT-C. UltraTax CS uses this information to determine what displays in the filing instructions. UltraTax CS automatically transfers the selection entered in this field to the

field in the Electronic Filing Status window transfers to this field.

Signature date of partner signing return if different from federal Screen ELF
Enter the date the electronically filed return is signed by the tax matters partner. If this field is blank, UltraTax CS uses the signature date of the partner signing the return in the ELF federal screen as the date signed in the Vermont electronic file. Enter a date in this field if the federal return isn't being filed electronically, or the Vermont signature date is different than the federal.

Signature date of electronic return originator (ERO), if different
Enter the date Form 8879-VT-C is signed by the ERO (electronic return originator). If this field is blank, UltraTax CS uses the Vermont signature date of partner signing the return for Form 8879-VT-C, if it exists. Otherwise, the application uses the signature date of the ERO or partner signing the return in the ELF federal screen. Enter a date in this field if the federal return isn't being filed electronically or the Vermont signature date is different than the default.

Electronic Funds Withdrawal Information

Requested payment date for return
Enter the requested payment date for the automatic funds withdrawal, no later than the due date of the return. Entry in this field is required to pay the balance due on an electronically filed return with electronic funds withdrawal.
Amount of tax payment (Force)
Enter an amount if a partial payment of the return balance due is being made through electronic funds withdrawal. If this field is blank, UltraTax CS uses the total balance due on the return for the electronic funds withdrawal amount.
