Do the following to data share 1120S beginning-of-year basis and prior-year suspended losses:
- Open the 1120S client.
- SelectView, thenShareholder Information.
- On theOther Infotab, selectShareholder Basis.
- On theSuspended Lossestab, mark theData share beg basis and prior suspended lossescheckbox.
note
- Only mark theData share beg basis and prior suspended lossesfield on the 1st year the basis information is data sharing to the 1040 client. After the 1st year this information is data shared, the beginning-of-year basis and prior-year suspended losses will proforma in the 1040 client and should no longer data share from the 1120 client.
- If you want to data share for all shareholders (instead of individual shareholders), enterXin theDatashare beginning basis and prior suspended losses for all shareholdersfield in the1120screen, located under theGeneralfolder.
