Apportionment information - Connecticut tab
Use the state tabs in the Apportionment Information window to enter state-specific apportionment information. State tabs appear only if you have added states to the return and if more apportionment information is needed.
To enter state-specific apportionment information, select the state tab at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window.
Special information for processing Connecticut returns
Connecticut requires that the minimum tax base for Schedule S is calculated on an average monthly book value for C Corporation returns. Enter this amount in the Minimum Tax Base window. The Intangible Assets section of Schedule S default to amounts on the main spreadsheet if no data is entered in the window.
UltraTax CS gives predefined statement windows for factor components needing detail information. UltraTax CS uses the information from the statement windows in the Everywhere column on the form for that component. UltraTax CS ignores amounts from the Everywhere / (Override) column for that component.

UltraTax CS uses the information you enter in this group box to complete form fields and answer questions that are not addressed in the Apportionment spreadsheet.

Select this button to open the motor bus and carrier companies window.
Broadcasters and Production
Select this button to open the broadcasters and production entities window.
Credit Card Activities
Select this button to open the credit card activities window.
Securities Brokerage Services
Select this button to open the securities brokerage services window.
Regulated Investment Companies

Air carrier and financial services apportionment fraction
If the corporation is an air carrier or financial service company, enter the apportionment fraction from Form 1120A-A or 1120A-FS.
