Screen 8832 - Entity Classification Election (1120)

Election Information

Enter the demographic information of the entity making the classification election, if it is different from the corporation. If these fields are blank, the application uses information in the 1120 screen as default.

Enter the name, title and phone number of the person the IRS may contact for more information. If these fields are blank, they default to
Officer name
,
Officer title
, and
Client phone number
 fields in the Contact screen.
Use the statement to enter the owners and/or officers and their titles. If there are more than 16, the first 15 print on Form 8832 and the remaining ones print on the Entity Classification Election Consent Statement Worksheet.
Enter the date Form 8832 is to be filed. If this field is blank "AS SOON AS POSSIBLE" prints as the date due on the filing instructions.
