E-file 1120 state estimates

If a state allows electronic funds withdrawal for estimates, complete the following setup. States that allow electronic funds withdrawal for estimates usually have the fields required for setup in their respective
ELF
or
ELFEst
screens.
  1. In the state's
    Electronic Filing
    folder, go to either the
    ELF
    or
    ELFEst
    screen and complete the appropriate fields.
  2. Enter bank information in the state's
    Bank
    screen, if it hasn’t already been entered in the federal
    Bank
    screen.
  3. Review all diagnostics and clear all ELF diagnostics for the estimates.
  4. If a state files estimates separately from the return and the return is not being filed at the same time, mark the
    Suppress return and extension electronic files when only filing estimates electronically
    field in the state's ELF screen. If the return and estimates are being filed at the same time, skip this step.
  5. Choose
    File
    , then
    Print Returns
    .
  6. Mark both the
    Government copy
    and the
    Create electronic file
    checkboxes.
  7. Print the return to generate the electronic file either to a printer or to FileCabinet CS.
  8. Open
    CS Connect
    and send the electronic file.
