E-file California combined QSub return

To file California combined QSub returns electronically on Form 100S, complete the following steps.
  1. Complete the data entry for all members of the consolidated group.
  2. Review all California diagnostics for each member.
  3. Open the Consolidated S Corp client and go to the federal ELF screen.
  4. Mark
    File this return electronically
    and enter the
    Signature date
    .
  5. If you're only e-filing the California return, mark the
    Suppress the creation of: Federal electronic file when only filing a state return or extension electronically
    .
  6. Review all California diagnostics and clear all California ELF diagnostics for the Consolidated S Corporation client.
  7. Close all client returns.
  8. Select
    File
    , then
    Print Returns
    .
  9. Mark both the
    Government copy
    and the
    Create Electronic File
    checkboxes.
  10. Select
    Client
    and ONLY select the Consolidated S Corporation.
  11. Create the electronic file
    only
    for the Consolidated S Corporation client as you would for any single member client.
  12. Follow the normal procedures to send the return electronically via CS Connect.
