California R&TC code section assets subject to amortization
When entering California assets subject to amortization in the asset module, enter the federal amortization code section number in the Other tab. The code section transfers to the statement dialog in the CADepr screen for amortization. UltraTax CS converts the federal code section into the applicable California R & TC section number. This information prints on Form 3885, Part IV and Schedule B (100S), Part II. If you are entering data directly in the CADepr screen, you may enter either the federal amortization code section number or the California R&TC section number.
