General Information

Use this section to enter electronic filing information.
note
  • Enter name control in the CAGen screen, if different from federal.
  • Enter banking information or direct deposit information in the CABank screen, if different from federal.
  • To instruct the client to pay by electronic funds transfer instead of electronic withdrawal, leave

Suppress California electronic file(s) when filing federal return or extension electronically

Electronic funds withdrawal for returns: Requested payment date
Enter a date that is on or before the due date of the return to authorize automatic funds withdrawal for payment of a balance due return. If this is blank, the application doesn’t generate a payment record.
For returns transmitted after the due date, the payment date must be the same as the date the return is transmitted.
To instruct the client to pay by electronic funds transfer instead of electronic withdrawal, leave this field blank and mark the

Amount of tax payment (Force)
Enter an amount if only a partial payment of the return balance due is being made through electronic funds withdrawal. If this is blank, the application uses the total balance due on the return for the electronic funds withdrawal amount.

Enter a date to authorize automatic funds withdrawal for payment of an amended balance due return. If this is blank, the application doesn’t generate a payment record.
