To indicate that the business is

subject to use tax, enter
0
here. The application prints a zero on the line on Form 199.

Businesses must report purchases subject to use tax directly to the State Board of Equalization and should leave this field blank if they meet any of the following conditions:
  • the business has a California consumer use tax account, or
  • the business has a California seller’s permit, or
  • the business receives at least $100,000 in gross receipts.
