The application calculates the amount of tax owed for nonresident composite shareholders on the GA Composite Shareholder Worksheet. The application transfers the total amount of tax from this worksheet to Form IT-CR, line 1. To change the calculated amount, enter the tax in this field.

The application automatically calculates the amount of tax owed for nonresidents who are filing a composite return in Georgia and electing option 1. If you wish to process a return with a shareholder electing option 2, you can use this field to force the amount of tax owed.
