Schedule F - Additions

Louisiana income tax
The application transfers amounts from the
Taxes and licenses
statement in the federal Inc and H Screens, as well as from taxes entered in the federal Farm, Rent, and 4835 Screens. To include state and local taxes on Form 620-SD, Schedules D and F, enter adjustments to state and local income taxes in the
State Amount
column of the statement.

Schedule F - Subtractions

Dividends
Enter the amount of dividends to be subtracted from Louisiana taxable income. The application transfers the amount of dividends from the federal return to the statement attached to this field. To exclude dividends from the state return, delete the amount or the entire line item from the statement. The application displays the modified column in black and will not overwrite with new data with subsequent federal-to-state data transfers.
Interest
Enter the amount of interest to be subtracted from Louisiana taxable income. The application transfers the amount of interest from the federal return to the statement attached to this field. To exclude interest from the state return, delete the amount or the entire line item from the statement. The application displays the modified column in black and does not overwrite with new data with subsequent federal-to-state data transfers.
IRC Section 280(C) expenses not deducted on federal return
Enter the amount of any IRC 280(C) expenses to be subtracted from Louisiana taxable income. The application automatically transfers amounts related to the following credits: Work Opportunity Credit, Empowerment Zone and Renewal Community Employment Credit, Indian Employment Credit, and the Credit for Employer Differential Wage Payments. To exclude the employment credit wages from the state return, delete the amount or the entire line item from the statement. The application displays the modified column in black and does not overwrite with new data with subsequent federal-to-state data transfers.

Enter other subtractions in the statement. The application transfers the amount of foreign divided gross-up from the federal return to the statement. To exclude an item from the state return, delete the amount or the entire line item from the statement. The application displays the modified column in black and does not overwrite with new data with subsequent federal-to-state data transfers.
Louisiana income tax refund
The application transfers amounts from the
State tax refunds
statement in the federal Inc and H Screens. The application assumes these amounts are not deductible in Louisiana. Enter adjustments to state tax refunds in the
State Amount
column of the statement.
Schedule D adjustment
The application allows users to adjust Schedule D for the difference between Form CIFT-620SD, Schedule D, line 25 and Form CIFT-620, Schedule F, line 4. Enter the adjustment as a positive number to be included as an addition on Schedule D, or enter the adjustment as a negative to be included as a subtraction on Schedule D.

Schedule M - Analysis of Earned Surplus

Other increases in earned surplus
Amounts in this statement transfer from the federal Schedule M-2. The application uses this information to complete Form CIFT-620SD, Schedule M, line 3 or 6. To exclude an item from the state return, delete the amount or the entire line item from the statement. The application displays the modified column in black and does not overwrite with new data with subsequent federal-to-state data transfers.
Louisiana adjustment (Force)
The application calculates a Louisiana adjustment for the difference between Schedule G, Column 2, line 30, Earned Surplus and Undivided Profits and Schedule M, line 8, Balance at end of year. To change the adjustment calculated by the application, enter an amount in this field. To delete this item from the printed statement, enter
