Screen MACRC - Massachusetts Combined Research Credit (1120)
Overview
The application uses this screen to complete Schedule RC, Research Credit for a Massachusetts unitary group making or filing pursuant to an affiliated group election. A unit of this screen is created for each member of the unitary group. Amounts for this screen are entered in the member’s return in Screen MARC.
Qualified Research Expenses
In the member’s return, enter research expense information in the
General Research
fields in Screen MARC. If electing to calculate the credit separately for defense-related activities under 38M(i), also complete the Defense Related
fields. The application will complete a copy of Schedule RC, Page 1 for each column that has data entered.
